Check distances

Every hazard has two distances that matter:
  • Carry distance: how far you need to hit the ball in the air to clear it.
  • Run-out distance: how far the ball might roll before reaching it.
Use these distances to understand which hazards are in play for your normal tee shot.
This tells you whether a bunker, water hazard, or slope actually threatens your drive — or if it’s safely out of range.
